Grassrootz

Grassrootz is a fundraising platform. The integration between eventplus and Grassrootz allows participants to create their own fundraising pages while they are registering for an the event, with just the click of a button.

Grassrootz offers a comprehensive suite of fundraising products that make it easy and delightful to raise money for your cause

Setup

The first steps are done on the Grassrootz website (www.grassrootz.com).

  1. The first step is to create your & select your charity or charities.
  2. Get your Client Key, Client Secret and Event URL
  3. Set the ticket link in Grassrootz to the URL of your eventplus registration link.
  4. You can get the registration link from the eventplus dashboard Setup > Integrations > Grassrootz

The next steps are on the eventplus dashboard.

  1. Navigate to Setup > Integrations > Grassrootz
  2. Enter your Grassrootz Client Key, Client Secret, Event URL
  3. Require a charity to be choosen - This this if it is mandatory for the participant to select a charity
  4. Allow searching from all categories - Shows a search panel allowing charity search and selection.
  5. Availability - Select the categories which will display the Grassrootz charity section.
  6. Registration Form Section Name - this is the name of the Charity Selection Section on the registration form
  7. Registration Form Text - enter a text description which is displayed to participants.

The Charity options appear on the Registration Form for the participant to select, or search for their preferred charity.
